Artificial Intelligence (AI) Is Not So Intelligent

The propaganda about artificial intelligence (AI) is misleading. AI is simply an aggregator of information plugged into a preformatted agenda to produce a programmed outcome. It is not truly intelligent. It is prone to error because its assessments are based on preprogrammed outcomes that are sometimes erroneous.

For example, I was sent an email challenge informing me that Grok AI had definitive mathematical proof that the Earth is a spinning sphere.  The email had a link to a video that provided the underlying authority for Grok’s conclusion. The video argued that range finders for WW2 destroyer-based 16-inch gun targeting systems accounted for the Earth’s rotation. The email correspondent is a man who has been conditioned to believe a lie. He thought that the AI explanation of a spinning, globular Earth was proof that flat-earthers were wrong. But as I will show, Grok AI was programmed to lie to him.

The Coriolis effect for spinning objects is real. Modern scientists must sell the myth that there is a Coriolis effect manifested on the Earth, to make the spinning Earth seem real. The fact that there is no Coriolis effect on the Earth, creates a real problem for “scientists.” Their solution to that little problem is to lie. They claim that there is a Coriolis effect on Earth, when in reality there is not.

The lie of the Coriolis effect on a spinning earth is explained in the Encyclopedia Britannica, which states that the Coriolis force is “an effect of motion on a rotating body, of paramount importance to meteorology, ballistics, and oceanography.” The Encyclopedia Britannica provided a graphic to explain the Coriolis force on the supposedly spinning globular Earth. The graphic is reproduced below.

The problem with the above illustration from the Encyclopedia Britannica, is that it has no basis in fact. The Coriolis Force is very real. If the Earth were in fact a spinning globe, the Coriolis effect would be manifested. The problem is that there is no such Coriolis effect taking place on Earth. Which means that the Earth is not spinning.

I responded to the email by explaining that the equation presented by Grok, purporting to account for the supposed Coriolis effect of the alleged spinning Earth, was demonstrably false. I explained that the equation and the theory upon which it was based posed a problem for the theory of a spinning Earth because there is no Coriolis effect in day-to-day flights of aircraft. Day-to-day experience impeaches the equations. How can the equation reflect reality when reality shows no such Coriolis effect?

Indeed, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) assumes a flat earth when training pilots and air traffic controllers using their Target Generation Facility (TGF). The TGF consists of several software programs that control simulation scenarios, using simulated aircraft. The TGF computer simulator drives almost all of the air traffic control laboratories at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center. The FAA states: “Our lab has worked closely with the TGF group to have aircraft perform the way air traffic controllers would expect them to behave in the real National Airspace System (NAS). The simulated aircraft in TGF are quite realistic representations of their real-life counterparts.”

The software used in the TGF must be accurate in order to properly train pilots and air traffic controllers on the behavior of aircraft in flight. The assumption of a flat earth can be seen in a publication from the FAA, The Engineering Analysis and Design of the Aircraft Dynamics Model For the FAA Target Generation Facility [TGF]. That FAA publication explains the software that is used by the TGF to accurately simulate the behavior of aircraft over the earth. The FAA publication explains that for the software to accurately replicate the behavior of aircraft during flight over the earth, the software running the TGF simulator assumes that the earth is flat and stationary.

The observant reader will notice that the aircraft equations of motion were calculated assuming a flat Earth and that we here assume the development frame was the NorthEast-Down frame. This implies necessarily that earth rotation and the variation of the gravity vector with position over the earth were ignored in developing the aircraft equations of motion. This simplification limits our mathematical model to the flight of aircraft only. The model will not properly handle the flight of sub-orbital craft and spacecraft such as intercontinental ballistic missiles, satellites, or the space shuttle. The model is adequate for all vehicles traveling under Mach 3. (emphasis added)

Thus, the FAA ignores the curvature of the Earth and the Coriolis effect when training pilots and air traffic controllers using their Target Generation Facility (TGF). That is because Earth is flat and stationary; there is no Coriolis effect to take into account.

The Coriolis effect is supposed to be based on the spin of the Earth and the fact that objects in motion over the spinning Earth are moving independent of the spin of the Earth once they are in motion. If there truly were a Coriolis effect on Earth, it would pose a real problem for plane flights. If a plane were to take off from an airport in Portland, Oregon, in a North/South runway and turn east to fly to Portland, Maine, the airplane would never make it to Portland, Maine. That is because the airplane would be traveling at approximately 560 miles per hour once it reached cruising altitude. The Earth, however, would be spinning at 700 miles per hour eastbound beneath the airplane. The airplane would never be able to catch up with the speed of the Earth’s spin. The airplane would be constantly losing distance over the ground at the rate of 140 miles per hour. Essentially, the airplane would be moving backwards over the ground.

What is found is exactly the opposite. An airplane traveling eastbound from Portland, Oregon, to Portland, Maine, would, in fact, have a shorter flight time than an airplane traveling westbound from Portland, Maine, to Portland, Oregon. The reason has nothing to do with the spin of the Earth. The high velocity eastbound winds at high altitude, known as the jet stream, carry the airplanes along and allow eastbound flights to have a faster ground speed. The jet stream can have wind speeds ranging from 60 miles per hour to over 250 miles per hour. That same jet stream is a hindrance to westbound flights. It was reported in January, 2015, that a British Airways Boeing 777-200 Jet was able to travel at ground speeds in excess of 745 miles per hour as it traveled in the eastbound jet stream of approximately 250 miles per hour. Incidentally, the speed of sound is 760 miles per hour at sea level.

I explained to the email sender that, rather than look at some equation on paper, he should do actual experimentation. He should look at what really happens with projectiles. David Wardlaw Scott explains experiments done in England at the turn of the 20th century, using a cannon, which showed that there was no Coriolis effect whatsoever manifested on Earth, thus indicating that the Earth is motionless. In the experiments, a cannon was fixed firmly on the ground in a precisely vertical position. The cannon was fired. The cannonball ascended for 14 seconds vertically, and it took 14 seconds for the cannonball to fall back to Earth, for a total of 28 seconds aloft. If the Earth were traveling eastward at 600 miles per hour at the latitude in England, the cannonball would be expected to land almost 5 miles to the west of the cannon. However, that did not happen. The cannonball fell generally within 2 feet of the cannon. In a couple of instances, the cannonball actually returned to the cannon’s mouth.

Regarding the supposed curvature of the Earth, if the Earth were a globe, airliners would not be able to fly on a flat and level path. Any pilot will tell you that once a plane gets to its cruising altitude, the pilot “levels off” and flies in a straight and level path. Indeed, the pilot uses the horizon to ensure that the plane is flying level. When visibility is poor, the pilot will use the instruments and fly a level heading, using an artificial horizon. Either way, at all times the plane flies level, once the pilot reaches cruising altitude. If the Earth were a globe, the pilot would have to constantly adjust the heading of the plane and dip its nose down to keep a constant altitude. However, the Earth is in fact flat, so if a pilot dipped the nose of the plane down, to adjust for the supposed curvature of the Earth, he would find that he is losing altitude. If the pilot kept on that downward trajectory, the plane would crash into the Earth. The fact that no such downward adjustment is made by pilots for the supposed curvature of the Earth is proof that the Earth is flat. Eric Dubay explains:

If the Earth were a sphere, airplane pilots would have to constantly correct their altitudes downwards so as to not fly straight off into “outer space!” If the Earth were truly a sphere 25,000 miles in circumference curveting 8 inches per mile squared, a pilot wishing to simply maintain their altitude at a typical cruising speed of 500 mph, would have to constantly dip their nose downwards and descend … Otherwise, without compensation, in one hour’s time the pilot would find themselves 166,666 feet (31.5 miles) higher than expected! A plane flying at a typical 35,000 feet wishing to maintain that altitude at the upper-rim of the so-called “Troposphere” in one hour would find themselves over 200,000 feet high into the “Mesosphere” with a steadily raising trajectory the longer they go. I have talked to several pilots, and no such compensation for the Earth’s supposed curvature is ever made. When pilots set an altitude, their artificial horizon gauge remains level and so does their course.

I explained that if the Earth were spinning and thus there was a Coriolis effect, we could never play baseball. A pitched ball travelling 90 mph will cross home plate in approximately 0.42 seconds. Assuming we are playing baseball in the United States. The Earth would be spinning at the U.S. latitudes at about 700 mph. Assuming the mound-to-plate line is north-south, in 0.42 seconds, the home plate would have moved about 431 feet east by the time the ball crosses the plate. If the Earth were spinning as Grok claims and as the equation purports, we could not play baseball. There is no Coriolis effect manifested on the Earth because it is NOT spinning. Thus, the equation that accounts for a Coriolis effect is a deception.

Response by Grok

The email correspondent plugged my response into Grok AI, which replied with false propaganda. For example, Grok AI claimed that my equation for the Coriolis effect during a baseball game was wrong. Grok stated that home plate would only move by 36 feet. Grok claimed I made a 10x math error. Second, Grok claimed that the pitcher and batter are moving with the Earth and thus “the ball inherits 700 mph eastward velocity.” Grok concluded that there is zero deflection from the rotation of the Earth during the 60-foot throw.

Allow me to address Grok’s errors one at a time. First, Grok made a simple math error, which impeaches its argument. If the artificial intelligence engine cannot do simple math calculations correctly, how can you rely on anything it states? Grok states that the eastward movement of home plate on the supposed spinning globe is only 46 feet in the 0.42 seconds it takes a pitched 90 mph ball to reach home plate. In fact, the movement of home plate on the mythical spinning Earth is just as I stated, 431 feet.

700 mph x 5280 feet = 3,696,000 feet per hour

3,696,000/3,600 = 1,027 feet per second

1,026 feet per second x 0.42 seconds = 431 feet

Second, Grok contradicts itself. Grok concludes: “Relative motion: zero deflection from rotation during 60-ft throw.” Thus, Grok is stating that there is “zero” Coriolis effect. Thus, Grok acknowledges in that single statement that the Earth is not spinning. All moving objects on a spinning surface will be subjected to a Coriolis effect. That is acknowledged by Grok and all of science. But Grok is now stating that there is “zero” Coriolis effect on a pitched ball on Earth. That means the Earth cannot be spinning.

What is Grok’s argument for “zero” Coriolis effect? Grok argues that “pitcher and batter are moving with Earth. The ball inherits 700 mph eastward velocity.” If that is true for a baseball, it would also be true for artillery fired from a ship during WWII. It seems Grok realized its mistake in midstream. It then tried to add a tiny bit of Coriolis effect by stating that there would be a deflection of only 0.6 inches.

That 0.6 inches is a problem for Grok because Grok based that figure on the erroneous assumption that the home plate only moved 36 feet, when in fact it had moved 431 feet. Grok’s calculation is off by 9-fold. When accounting for the alleged inertia plus Coriolis effect under Grok’s made-up calculation, the pitch would be off by 5.6 inches, not 0.6 inches as Grok claims. That 5.6 inches is enough to make a ball a strike and a strike a ball. If the Earth were spinning as you claim, it would be dangerous for a batter who would risk getting hit by a pitch from a pitcher who did not account for the spin of the Earth. I am not aware of any pitchers who make adjustments for the spin of the Earth.

Grok seemed to try to mitigate the Coriolis effect by factoring in inertia at a constant linear speed with no acceleration. The alleged spinning Earth is not like a car traveling in a straight line at a constant speed on the highway. The heliocentric model has the Earth allegedly spinning. When you have rotation, even at a constant speed, the objects within the spinning reference frame are always accelerating. The heliocentric model is not like a car traveling on the highway at a constant speed. The heliocentric model is like a car making a constant left-hand turn. The passengers inside the car are continually being pulled to the right side of the car. Although the car is traveling at a constant speed, the passengers continually feel the acceleration. The passengers never inherit the car’s speed as they would if the vehicle were travelling in a straight line at a constant speed.

That is why, on a spinning merry-go-round, you must hold on to keep from flying off even though you are traveling at a constant speed. Thus, the Coriolis effect will always be manifested on things that are rolled or thrown while on a spinning platform. Indeed, Grok has acknowledged that truth. And that is the reason that Grok claims that there is a Coriolis effect on Earth. Grok contradicts itself when it argues that the pitcher, batter, and ball all inherit the inertia of the allegedly spinning Earth and thus there was “zero” deflection. If that were the case, there would be no Coriolis effect on Earth, and it refutes the argument by Grok, and indeed all heliocentrists, that there is a Coriolis effect on Earth.

Grok is making a schizophrenic argument. It argues that there is a Coriolis effect on Earth, but the reason that you do not notice it is because you are traveling in the same inertial frame, and thus you do not experience the Coriolis effect, which is nonetheless still there. Under that rubric, the Coriolis effect is both there and not there at the same time. It does not make sense because it is literally nonsense!

As a matter of fact, the claimed Coriolis effect is not truly manifested anywhere on Earth. That truth is not because of inherited inertia. If the Earth were truly spinning, all objects on a spinning globe would be accelerating; they would not inherit the inertia of the spinning platform. Grok acknowledges that if the Earth spins, there must be a Coriolis effect on the Earth. But we know that there is no Coriolis effect on Earth. That is because the Earth is flat and stationary.

For example, you can visit any bowling alley, and you won’t experience the Coriolis effect at all. Assume a bowler rolls the ball down the alley in a straight line. But a spinning Earth requires a Coriolis effect.  Grok acknowledges that fact. Assuming a bowler is at a latitude where the Earth is supposed to be spinning at 700 miles per hour, the ball will always end up in the gutter.

A standard bowling lane is 60 feet long and 42 inches wide. The ball will take approximately 2.5 seconds to reach the pins at the end of the bowling lane. Assuming a north/south direction of the lane, in that 2.5 seconds, the Coriolis effect will cause the bowling ball to curve into the gutter because the lane will have traveled 2,566 feet (approximately ½ a mile) on the alleged spinning Earth.

700 mph/3600 seconds = 0.1944 miles per second

0,1944 miles per second x 2.5 seconds = 0.486 miles

0.486 miles x 5280 feet = 2,566 feet

If the Earth is truly a spinning globe, there would always be a Coriolis effect for all objects rolled, thrown, shot, or flown on Earth. But there is, in actuality, no such Coriolis effect. Thus, the Earth cannot be a moving globe. I pointed out the errors in Grok’s calculations and authority to the correspondent. He has, thus far, not replied.

  1. Edward, thank you for writing “The Greatest Lie On Earth.” I’ve stumbled upon this work after my eyes were opened to what the Bible has to say about our cosmos. (My 14 year old son started reading The Greatest Lie before I did.) Your book has further strengthened my convictions, as well as open my eyes to the realities of the Zionists–something against which I’ve argued in the past. I’ve also subsequently come to realize the reason for the enemy’s focus and energy on propagating this “greatest lie”–namely that we are in what Revelation 20 calls “Satan’s little season of deception”. I haven’t come close to reading even 10% of your writings, but so far I don’t see any evidence that you believe we’re in Satan’s little season. Have you considered this? What are your thoughts on this?

    Searching for Truth daily,

    • Oh my gosh. Please address this evil, wicked lie that’s spreading like a wildfire out of control that says we are currently in Satan’s little season. This means Christ has already returned and now He’s gone. Where? When Christ returns, He never leaves!

      • Fine, I will.

Read Fred Harding’s “The Apocalypse Deception: The Book of Revelation is Not What It Seems”

Then understand this: Satan is an accusing angel, not the ruler of this Earth. Jesus inherited the Earth with his death on the cross, and if the Earth seems evil now, it is because we are in disobedience to God. God is with us at all times. Christ returned three days after he died, and has been with us ever since. We merely have shut our eyes and ears.

  2. My comment is a general one not specific to this article although I thoroughly enjoyed as usual. 8 just wanted to say thankyou for all your work. I have all of your books and have read ll of them except your latest. Thanks again. J. Hilbert

  3. We should ask these people if there is anything in their every day sensory perception of the reality they’ve lived in since birth that would suggest to them or anyone – without being told by a television – that the world they live on is moving or is a ball in outer space. The answer of course is no. Since the answer is no, why are they so set on “disproving” something they know inherently is actually true (Romans 1:19), in favour of something that actually conflicts with their own personal perception of reality. Isn’t this insane/delusional, one might ask ? Is such a person not at war with both reality and themselves?

    • It’s called INDOCTRINATION…What is worse is professed Christians who still reject the Word of GOD when the truth is presented to them. The SPELL is strong in believing the spinning wet ball rocket that God’s Word never mentions one time.

      • Absolutely it’s indoctrination.. I constantly have to remind myself I was delivered from it only by the grace of God. The indoctrination I understand, but when people actually set themselves against and ATTACK the truth, especially like you said professing Christians, its so dumbfounding to me. That’s when it becomes full blown delusional I think ..

        • Correct, and I have to remind myself that I was once there. Years ago, my brother-in-law brought up flat Earth. He asked me to look into it, I thought he’d been drinking the bath water when he brought it up, but I told him I’d look at it one day. I got onto the NASA (Never a Straight Answer) lies and then I got to wondering what else they’re lying to us about. I think it’d be easier to say what they’re NOT lying about than to list the lies.

Great article, I’ve forwarded it to some friends still looking through a glass darkly.

  4. Wonderful article. Thank You.

You know you’ve won the argument with a globite when they resort to the mentality of an infant classroom and call you all the names under the Sun.
